Websites that once promised to stand by sex workers and provide a reliable place for us to share our art have gone to the wayside or folded under the pressure of payment processors to continuously censor erotic expression.
Fansly recently disallowed outdoor content, which had been a previous draw to their site over OnlyFans. Originally purporting itself as a kink friendly platform, Fansly also prohibits several taboo kinks such as Mommy and Daddy Dom roleplay. Speculation among creators as recently as summer 2025 points to Fansly restricting the use of fantasy toys such as those available on Mr. Hankey’s Toys and Bad Dragon. Although there are still several fetishes such as breastmilk, urine, and fisting that can be posted on Fansly which are not allowed on OF. Nonetheless this illustrates the ever changing online adult industry, and the challenges creators must navigate to continue our livelihoods.
More surprising, the website ManyVids has rapidly deteriorated into a site that no fan or creator can recognize anymore. Around mid 2025 ManyVids made the silent decision to pull hundreds of videos from their site. Zero notice was given to the creators on the ManyVids platform despite us being the individuals responsible for the material the company profits from. Absolutely zero communication was attempted from ManyVids as they quietly deleted the hard work of thousands of sex workers. Almost sixty of my taboo videos alone were deleted during this purge, many Mommy Domme and adult diaper videos are gone.
Adding insult to injury, many states such as Florida have now implemented age verification requirements for customers to even visit adult platforms at all. Understandably so, many supporters of independent adult performers do not wish to submit their sensitive, private information simply to be allowed to watch porn. Local governments continue to push for the censorship of adult content, which has directly led to cam performers in North Carolina no longer being able to stream as of December 11, 2025. As lawmakers push for more restrictions, viewing and producing adult content becomes more difficult.
While the online adult industry has evolved, my own life has as well. 2025 was a year full of surprises for me. My strength and resilience was tested, my ability to navigate life’s unpredictable circumstances, my will to overcome difficulties. Suffice to say, I am still here!
